Got my tickets and hotel reservations the other day. Looking forward to it. Last year was the first time we?d been to JoeFest and we enjoyed it. Who?s going and what are you wanting to get out of it? Any figures or toys you?re looking for? I’d love to find an affordable 2003 Convention Falcon but I’m not holding my breath.

I'll be there! Working the ROMA Collectibles booth & hanging out at Toy Department. And of course... floating around the lobby after hours for shenanigans.
I'm looking to his Marauders for bodies for my Space Force heads... Dio-Display for more 3d printed goodness... Maaaaaybe pulling the trigger on a vintage APC, but I never do. |

I just got a bunch of stuff from Diowarriors. They have some really cool sci-fi looking stuff. I’ll have to check out Dio Display. I’m kind of hoping to find a 2002 Rattler or a 1998 Conquest too. Of course it will all depend on the price.
I just looked up Dio Display. I remember seeing them at Joefest last year. Now I wish I would have picked up some of their stuff. I’ll definitely be hitting them up this year. Last edited by Talon1load; 02-17-2022 at 03:28 PM.. |

The booth layout was... not great. It was hard to know they were even selling. But at the very end of the weekend, I was doing a lazy lap & found their 3d printed 3.75" bar. Picked it up... got it home... got online & ordered more. Fantastic stuff. I plan on hitting them early this time.

As much as I'd like to go, over the last few years I've developed a crowd phobia starting with going to Gen Con 2014, where it was so crowded that you could not move in the main walkways. Ever since going to that event, all I can think about when going to conventions is leaving. I've been to conventions and concerts since then, but it hasn't seemed to get any better. Some events are more tolerable than others.

I'll be there like every year.
Look for the guy in the lobby at night with the fireball bottle. Ask Kendiesal. He loves the fireball.

I got early bird for Friday and Saturday. Hotel booked. I'm in like Flynn. I want to check out Roboskull, Marauder Task Force especially. I also want to see what deals can be had with Acid Rain World stuff... Maybe get my first Dime Novel Legends figure (if I manage to not order any before then). I want to hold Vitruvian HACKS figures in my hands to see if they will hold up with kids playing them. All in all I haven't been this excited for a convention in a while. It's my first toy specific convention, closest thing I've been to was NYCC. |

I saw that Skeletron was going to be there and looked them up. I ended up preordering a Roboskull and 1 of all of the 4in figures. These look amazing. I’m psyched for this con. Might even try to talk to people this time.
