I will be there for the debut of the novel I wrote for Marauder Task Force. Please come over to their booth or the autograph table and introduce yourselves so I can put a face to the screen names.

Truejoefan, someone (B and H comics, I think) was looking for someone to grab the novel for him. If you are serious about helping people out with exclusives, you might want to reach out to him.

Remember that only 30 hardcovers were printed (there will be plenty of paperbacks). With such a low print run, the hardcover may be the hottest exclusive at the con.

I sign two items for free (if they are personalized, non-dedicated sigs are $10, witnessed sigs <SCD etc> are $20) Photos are free. Pencil sketches are $40 (per character.) I have a sign-up sheet on my table for sketches, and I do them in order, so best to get on the list early. I don't accept payment until I hand over the drawing.

I spend too much time at cons explaining to people why I no longer sign big stacks of books. Mostly, I get hairy side-eyes of disbelief. I have to wear immobilization braces on both hands at night to prevent further deterioration of basal thumb joints. No ligaments left, so it's bone grinding on bone. Hurts like hell. Trained myself to draw by locking pencil in my hand and moving whole arm- That still hurts a bit, but I love drawing too much to stop. I HATE signing my name over and over.

I will continue to do pencil sketches at cons, but will no longer draw on blank covers, nor will I draw Cobra La characters, Serpentor, or Cobra Commander unless you actually wearing the costume. I also do not draw characters I don't know how to draw.

Yep. He has done a ton of conventions that I've been able to get to so I have numerous sketches and sigs but being able to actually speak with him and pick his brain a bit definitely takes the cake.

Hell yeah man, last year was great shooting the shit with you, Yojoe and Mike. I will probably make the trip down next year as well and If you guys ever come up here for a Hascon I can make up a nice closet for Yojoe or the guest room for you guys;)
