Anyone know what these designs/colors are based on? Comic appearance, cartoon, etc?

Nope just based on the 2002 Convention set in 25th style

Yeah, I think the 2002 set was inspired by similar redecos from the original line - like the SMS and Cobra CAT. One of the better repaints of the Cobra Viper, that's for sure.

So, how many of you 'Tankers have ordered / are going to order this set? Without a GIJCC membership, I believe it is about $320.

Yeah, I am still up in the air. I have last year's Headhunters, but these are really tempting because of the 25th style. I know they are only making like 500, which is also very appealing - having something only 499 other people in the world have.
