So, what'd ya get???
Honestly, I think my favourite things I got this year was an unused Diamond sticker book (along with a box of about 80 unused sticker packs), and GI Joe games from '82 or so... it's still packed up so I don't remember what it's called, but I believe it was the first one. Having the GI Joe arcade game there was really, really cool. Of course the best memories are hanging out with friends, but man... You guys who drink all night after these long and busy days on the sales floor - I don't know how you do it!

This was my first time going to one of these, and it was mostly for my son (though I love GI JOE, I use him as my excuse to get a lot of the toys, fortunately this is his favorite toy line).
Best memory really was just seeing him walking around looking at al the stuff and how his eyes lit up with some of the things we bought for him. He's also getting an appreciation for "value" on stuff to a degree. He's only 7 years old but is starting to understand that just because something is cool doesn't mean we can afford it! He really was impressed by the custom figures and dioramas the most. Spent in the ballpark of $200 on him in the show. He got the Rolling Thunder for $50, Cesspool for $45, Widescope for $20, a Cobra Stun for $15, the ROC Flight Pod for $5, and a handful of smaller odds and ends. That night he played with his stuff all night in the hotel.

My best haul was a ME NF Crazylegs. It wasn't sealed in the bag, but it was complete. Got it for $80 from a dealer. I couldn't believe that price!
The best memories are just being at the con. It's such a fun experience. I really enjoyed the reveals from hasbro and the club, really enjoyed meeting tankers and talking to people. Hope to do this again next year.

Seeing my Joe brothers in person again, some for the first time was great!
Being in the Hasbro presentation and being among the first to find out whats upcoming was very cool. Also, being able to "bargain down the price" but still overpay for a couple exclusives from a vendor : priceless |

The best part? Had a ton of fun in the customizing class and had a great time standing in line talking to Grey and David. The BEST part was seeing David's collection. His place is in Springfield and it was by far the most expansive collection of action figures I've ever seen. Every GI JOE (it seemed) and tons of vehicles, Two Flaggs, Terra Drome, Defiant and just an enormous amount of figures. That was maybe 10% of his collection. Crazy amount. I spent about an hour just walking around his collection. Then at the end he had a NightForce Chuckles and Freestyle he sold me for a reasonable price. Fantastic guy.
At the Con, I got two of all the Joe exclusives and just love Frostbite. Great figure, just feels fun. On the floor, I found the mail away Doc that I had been looking for and in the spirit of the Con I got a Tiger Force Duke. Some custom cast heads (including an Arnold). Unfortunately I had to leave early for an emergency and so my paid room stood empty Friday and Saturday. If I had to boil it down, by favorite part was meeting new friends. |

I would say that the best haul goes to the Club and their insane cash grab
