There is the steel city comic con in Monroville PA at the end of july. I dont know a whole lot about it but am planning on going. Can anyone tell me if there are good g.i.joe dealers there and if so do any of them sell ARAH figures and body parts. anyone else going?

I do know personally of one toy dealer that will be there. Now, he sells several different lines--everything from Star Wars to wrestling to G.I.Joe, and the last time I was in his store he had only just recently gotten into intage G.I.Joe stuff (he had been stocking the 25th/ME stuff for a while). I haven't seen his inventory in two years, but he's been "in the game" for 10-15 years and always has had a great inventory in his store; I only just found out in the past week that he has begun doing shows (like Comic Cons) and that he plans to be at the Steel City one coming up. His name is Tom and he runs A 2 Z Toys and More; I'll let him know you're coming, hehe!

I've been to the show a few times. There are a few dealers who bring ARAH, both loose and in package. It's definitely more toy-oriented than a standard comic con. There are always a few great finds there.

I have been setting up at this show since it started in 1990. The show is big, but not huge. Think of it as twice the size of JoeCon give or take. As for Joes... I Know Gene and Troys Toys will be set up(Troy-better known as Loopy ears to the Joecon goers). Andy from the Toy cave will be set up(he was at Joecon this year as well). Chris will be there but not 100% sure he is setting up( He had the 4-5-6- tables at Joecon and is probabley one of the biggest vintage 3 3/4" Joe sellers on the East coast. There are 3-4 other dealers who set up and usually have a small assortment of vintage 3 3/4". Several dealers will have the 25th stuff. Felix as well as Gene and Troy as well as possable myself if I can brave the lines will have this years SDCC items. Joe actually isnt a great seller at the Monroeville show so not sure how much Joe merchandise I will have. I dont stock vintage figures but if you need anything 25th or newer, let me know and I can try and remember to drag it along.

sounds great.. i am really into customizing so any 25th or POC fodder lot will do good for me. I also like to go through tubs of random figures from any action figure line. So if anyone does have that type of stuff be sure to bring it, and i am sure i will stop by.
