Okay, for all tiers you get an acrylic (hard) case. For the Archival Tier, which is the most expensive ($60) you get a UV acrylic case and they take about 3-4 days (I believe) to grade. With all other tiers you get hard cases, but they take longer and they are less expensive.

For the express, it should cost you $24 plus shipping/insurance.
I think it's M2 or something. Quote:
I got a yellow stalker that is on my wall right now that i would like to get AFA'd. I just don't think i have the money at the moment to do this? It looks like it cost $60, but that includes a hard plastic case. Im a bit confused, don't you get a case when you use the lesser tiers? Does it just take more time?

there expensive to grade, my birthdays next month so i'm going to see if some friends and family will give me cash to go towards grading all this stuff. when u want to grade alot of items at one time it gets kinda strange because with that money your going to spend on grading you could just use that money to buy more figures!!!!!! it's a catch 22!!!

Very true. I guess the best bet is to get your best graded. I'm gonna try to do that to avoid getting in that situation. It's tuff though.

Yeah, not bad. It helps when your also picky. That way you don't send AFA everything and only what you think will grade pretty good. I also have the yellow stalker, but I won't send it because it has a slightly damaged bubble. I haven't sent my PDDs either, nor my Rowdy, although the silver PDD and Rowdy seem like they do pretty well.

you can get an acrylic case designed for carded figs for 7-8 bucks man. afa's cases are extremely fragile. when you grab the case tightly you can feel it kind of flex, and u have to be careful when displaying it out of the package the corners chip off easy. like i said afa is for sicko's lol the joes look incredible in the sealed cases though. they bring an absolute peace over your soul when you can gaze upon them in your collection hahhahahaha serious! true happiness
