I was just going through some old boxes that have been packed away in my parents attic and came across some of my old GI Joe toys.
I might be interested in parting ways but I would like to get an idea of the value of some of these items. Below are pictures of what I have gone through so far and it is only a small fraction of what I had as a child. I have at least another 50 figures without ID cards that I do not have pictures of yet. I still have a ton of vehicles, playsets, and other figures, I just haven't come across them yet. Please give me an idea of value for what I have posted so far. Thanks! |

if those figures are all complete. you can probably get between 700-1000 dollars for all those. its rare to find a big collection with all their filecards to. but you can probably make more if you sell them seperately

Depending on which vehicles you have and how many, and how many pieces are included, , those could total $500+ as well, easily.

These are all of my ID cards. Still missing a few figures to go along with them, and still have a ton of figures that I don't have ID cards for.

Decimator is worth a few bucks. He'll be worth even more if you have his helmet to go with him. I sold my Decimator with file card and helmet a year or two ago for around $50, if I remember correctly. He may very well go for even more today since the vintage market has apparently jumped up in price lately.
The figures you posted look to be in pretty good condition for the most part, so if you can find and reunite the accessories with their figure/file card you can probably get a good price for at least some of your stuff. It will just take a while to photograph, list, sell, pack, and ship it all. With some exceptions, bare figures and even figures with file cards usually won't go for all that much if they are missing all of their gear. A LARGE part of the price you can get is whether or not the figure is relatively rare (drivers for large vehicles, for example) and whether or not you have the accessories for the figure, especially the parts most kids either lost of broke (microphones, breather tubes, small pistols, etc.). Even so, some figures, even complete with file card, aren't worth more than $5-$7 dollars shipped on eBay which means you'll only bank $1-$3 on them by the time you pay fees and shipping. Those will be the ones you want to list as a larger lot as an auction and just let it bid up to whatever you can get for it. But first, pull out and list the valuable ones separately with buy-it-now listings. You'll need to do some research on eBay's completed listings to try to find which particular figures are most valuable from among whatever you ultimately find, and how much the valuable ones go for so you can price yours accordingly. Also, I have sold complete figures piecemeal for more net profit than if I had sold them complete. Vehicles are the same. Sometimes you can sell the shell and then part out the rest for a lot more than you could sell the complete vehicle for. Alternatively, if you don't feel like doing your research and making a ton of eBay listings you could save lots of time but lose a significant amount of money and just sell it as a large lot to someone (who will then go about listing things separately for more money). It's all about what your particular goals are.
