OK so I have a bunch of figures for auction on eBay. The items all say "I ship only to the US. No exceptions." So of course some idiot asks "do you ship to Brazil?" Of course I say no, only to the US. Well now he is winning 2 of my auctions. He also has zero feedback. How can I block him to keep him from bidding?

Well it's kinda easier said than done. I would have to tell Brazil guy no, then worry about getting negative feedback, then try to complete a deal with the 2nd place guy without sounding suspicious. It's a waste of my time to deal with people who don't care to pay attention, even after it says in the auction AND he asked me a question about it and I still said no. Just was hoping there was a way to block his bids.

You can cancel his bids and then block him from bidding. It may take some digging around to find the links, but it can be done. I've had to do it several times before.
Also, if the guy from brazil wins the auction, you're under no obligation to complete the transaction as his bid violated your terms of sale. He wouldn't be able to leave you negative feedback either. |

When you create/edit your listing go towards the bottom and click on "Buyer Requirements." From there you can block buyers that "Have a primary shipping address in countries that I don't ship to" among other options. After you set that, he wont be able to bid anymore but just hope someone outbids him. Also, I know there is an option to cancel someone's bid but I've never done it before - but it is available. Good luck!

ahh, I see. I haven't played around with ebay for quite some time. I forgot that you can't leave negative for buyers.

Did you use a flat price for shipping? You can charge him international priority rates if you didn't (I'd tack on an extra buck or two for your trouble). I'd block his user ID then cancel his bids. A lot of people hate second chance offers.

I have blocked the bidder, as well as retracted all his bids. I also set it up to not let foreign bidders bid on my items. Thanks for the help guys!
