I have so much Lego from my childhood...likely my second fave toy next to Joe. I've seen folks sell it by the pound on Ebay and for quite a few dollars. I just can't bear to ditch it though, I wanna pass it all down someday!

I was at the Grand Opening of the new Lego store at Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, NY this weekend. They were builing an 8-ft tall Buzz Lightyear there which was pretty cool.
I know this has nothing to do with selling Lego's, but I thought it was interesting and I figured I might as well give a bump to this thread in the process. In any case I think you should go with some of the suggestions here like Bricklink.com and such. There are other websites as well. I have some listed in my bookmarks on my laptop at home. I will post them when I get a chance to. There's always Ebay, and Craigslist which I'm sure everyone else has already mentioned.

As was stated before...Evilbay is probably your best bet.
I ammassed a small collection(about 90-100lbs) in the 90's/early 2000's. I have LOTS of the early Lego Star Wars sets. All kept in 4 25-gal tubs. Mostly seperated/organized. Buzetta had a great suggestion with brinklink. Peeron reference is/was pretty good too. He is also right with the older gray being more valuable than the new "bley". You could fetch a decent price on all you had listed above I would think. Do it by sets though. Don't lump all together. You get more money by individual sets than by a big hunka chunk legos. |
