Hey - good luck finding this variant. I have one MOC that took me forever to find. Many months of searching and I finally had to buy a $200 lot of joes just to get this one figure from ebay. I will keep my eyes out for another.

What is the difference between the "regular" and the "dark hooded"? Anyone have pictures?

Yep sure is! Wish I had that one simply because of when I used to watch the cartoon I always remember his mask being darker than the rest of his suit.

I just looked at mine and it is definatly dark blue, but this is not a variant.Seems to me that the paint that was applied may have come from the bottom of the paint can or whatever they use, when the paint was settling inside the drum. You can barely tell a difference.......this is just a paint issue, not a variant nor is it a running change IMO, just paint either not mixed properly or settled near the bottom.
