I've not been able to take pics of everything yet. Just wanted to get a few of them uploaded to give you guys an idea of what I'm trying to move. And if the right buyer is out there will be more pics coming soon.

These pics don't even include my Whales, Hydrofoils, Night Ravens or my Ferrets among others that I was army building. Also not pictured are big items like the original Joe Headquarters, or the TTPs. I might get around to those pics soon.

At the end of the day its a balance you decide between convenience of sale, and profit made. If you painstakingly part everything out, you will make more over time. If you sell all at once, you won't make nearly as much but you won't have the overhead of dealing with the sales. If I were you, I'd get a ballpark idea of what you would make with each option, but I'd say a good balance is probably a combination where you offer Hisstankers the opportunity to get LOTS of what they want with fair deals for the specific army builds they want, and then the "filler" you speak of be part of a larger leftover lot when you are done dealing with reputable collectors etc.

That is sort of what I did with this boardgame series I had hoarded. The 25% I had opened and played with was an "as is" auction lot. Everything Sealed was parted out separately and differently.

This would be the ideal way to do things, but I just don't have the time. My weeks are busy, and my weekends are even busier. It's already going to take me too long just to get pics of everything for those that are interested in the entire collection. I can't even imagine trying to split things up, post up the different lots, keep track of them, pack things up if/when they sell and then find time to head to the post office and pay through the butt for shipping because nothing is small or light (unless you're buying single figures/vehicles, which would be completely counterintuitive to what I'm trying to do). That is just a huge logistical headache I'm doing my best to avoid. But, yeah, I'd love to be in a position where I could do that and make nearly twice the money. It's just not feasible for me at the moment.

It's not just buying it, you have to move that stuff as well. If you want it to move at any real pace, I you have to sell for less than retail prices, because matching retail doesn't put you at the front of the line. It just meams you're directly competing with the 50 other guys for limited buyers. How much you have to beat them really depends on how desirable the product. So 1.5 or 2k might not be unreasonable. That's still a ton of work listing, answering the same questions, shipping etc.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback. I was able to sell the entire collection through a connection here. It was a bit sad to see it all go, but it was time.
