I do 3D printing of everything from vintage vehicle repair parts to replacement parts to action figure kitbashing adapters and custom diorama parts and vehicles. I have a lot of projects cooking at any given time and I print a lot of test parts and revisions in the process.
From time to time I will have spare parts, early experimental test parts, slightly (or more) defective parts, failed prints with some potential for customizing with, perfectly good parts printed in the wrong color, or just odds and ends to offer and that's what you'll find here. Subscribe to the thread if this sounds like the kind of thing you would be interested in. I'll update this first post and bump the thread when new items are added. I only accept PayPal for payment ("friends and family" payment or you pay the fees - let me know when requesting a total so I give you the correct dollar amount). Currently available: 1:18 Scale Old West Covered Wagon (2 minor defects): $75 (SOLD) Description: Quote:
I had an issue with the tailgate just baaaaarely fusing to the body of the wagon which rendered a 30-hour print kinda broken. The tailgate still moves, still stays closed, but the hinge pins sheared off while I was breaking the tailgate loose so the tailgate is not actually attached anymore. If you work the tailgate it eventually shifts out of place or even comes off and needs to be pushed back into place. There is also some scarring on the wagon body's wall where the tailgate had fused to it. It's still basically functional but it's not "first quality." There is also some rough printing surface on the back/underside of the seat bench (see photos).
Wagon cover is not included, you'll have to make your own (I don't plan to make covers for any wagons I sell so this one is no different). I plan to list a handful of non-defective wagons on eBay within the next week or so at double that price so this is essentially a 50% off clearance price. 1:18 Scale Old West Wagon Frame (no body): $25 (SOLD) Description: Quote:
This is an older version wagon tongue and frame design, one brake pad is mis-printed on the bottom half (bottom half is missing due to disconnection during printing). The wagon frame is assembled and has working wheels. It's good for diorama use as a ruin or a wagon being built or repaired at a wheelwright shop or it can easily be used as a base for customizing your own wagon body onto the frame.
1:18 Scale Napoleonic Wars/Civil War/Old West Era 12-Pounder Cannon Barrel: $5 Description: Quote:
Just the barrel, no wheels or frame. Test part printed in tan. The part shifted slightly during printing which left a ridge on one side and a groove on the other right by the mounting studs. I scraped the ridge down so it's fairly smooth (some WET SANDING would help to make it even better - NEVER dry sand these parts) but the groove side will need some filler or will need to be hidden from sight during display. Paint it up like brass and enjoy.
1:12 Scale GI Joe Classified Cobra Trooper SMG in WHITE (classic Sunbow design, 2 guns total): $5 for both Description: Quote:
Test parts printed in white, finish is not perfect, grip width is a bit wider than the final product. These were printed just to test scale and figure compatibility before listing them on Shapeways where the print quality is much better. Good for arctic troopers or paint them up for use with the current Target exclusive 6" Cobra Troopers.
1:12 Scale GI Joe Classified Cobra Trooper SMG in GREY (classic Sunbow design, 2 guns total): $5 for both Description: Quote:
Test parts printed in grey, finish is not perfect, same dimensions and design as the final product. These were printed just to test scale and figure compatibility before listing them on Shapeways where the print quality is much better. Keep them grey or paint them black. For use with the current Target exclusive 6" Cobra Troopers.
