So...
Real bad luck, the bidding went sky high to 500 USD so I had to leave that and then I came across another USS FLAGG, the promise land in France Ebay, a full (no piece missing) I was bidding and a couple of hours away... and finally the seller took out the offer for some unknown buyer that offer a HUGE amount off-bid... |

Then again, the flagg kind of exists outside the regular collecting, so its hard to say if its price will ever fluctuate down. |

the one I just saw at a garage sale was $400. The look on my wife's face was pretty good when she thought I was buying it.. (I said I was buying the base (HQ) and she thought that I was talking about the Flagg)

OK guys and girls, as amazing as it may sound, I will be crossing my path with a third Uss flagg in two weeks, the first I lost it in a bid at 307 EUR (not complete) the second (complete) lost it at some anonymous buyer at 500 EUr, so the seller is contacting me directly to offer a third... so I'm offering some 200 EUR, lets see what happens... It seems the only thing missing is the microphone
This is like 300USD what do you think? |

PLease give me some pointers here... I usually spend based on "gut feeling". If I'm thinking of buying some toy and I'm "feeling" bad about it or think it's too much, that's the sign that I need to put it back. i want to feel good about my purchases, not have buyers remorse before I even hand over the cash. I also managed to 'mostly' break my completest ways and when it comes to things like joe and Transformers or other properties (Star Wars, Marvel Universe) I stick to only buying what I want and not getting caught up in a "gotta-have-'em-all" rush. (but with SW I do buy all the single figure releases even if I know I'll just toss it in a plastic bin...(stupid ESB ugnaught) Hope any of that helps!!! |

Thats the thing!!!
"gotta-have-'em-all" rush. Thats what I need to control.... because I'm happy with the little things I´ve bought but thinking about overspending to get the flagg for example... well gets me thinking about the savings and all this things I haven´t bought cuz I was saving money... and now, well thats the thing... I´ll stick to what's really a good opportunity and whats just a rush... If you don´t mind I would like to ask you from time to time if I found something cool or just a waste of money... |
