I've had a vast majority of trades go very right, and only a few go wrong.
Keep in mind, we're just past the holidays, and lots of people are still busy. I've done hundreds of trades between this site, JBL, yojoe, rebelscum and fwoosh, and believe it or not, I've found that trades tend to go much smoother during the spring/summer/early fall time than during the winter, as odd as that may sound. People just get busy during the winter, and don't like to get out of the house as much. Stormshadow2852, not to justify it, but I have a VERY rotating collection - I'm always, buying, selling, or trading. I have close to 200 figures as well, and just don't keep very close tabs on the extras, so I can see how someone would lose track.

I can understand a rotating collection.. but thats not the point..the point is this particular guy kept asking me for feedback and I kept routing him to my ebay which is 100% its all I have...but if no one wants to give you achance to get any feedback on here or whatever then I cant show him anything else.. in any event that was all he kept asking for as if he really wasnt checking my ebay..so it got to a point where after i told him i had nothing else to show him the next response was holy crap I just looked and I dont have that figure... The guy probably had the figure he just didnt want to trade WITH ME because I dont have administrator or 2600 posts...its cool I dont take it personally and I understand exercising caution in a transaction...its just frustrating because the scammers ruin it for the honest people

I would say refer to the good buyers/sellers thread before you deal with some people, at least it could give you some peace of mind if you know you'll be dealing with people that have feedback.

I would say be willing to send first. Trade with established traders here until you have some feedback.

I've made a couple of deals here, and many more on Rebelscum. I've always done my best to be timely and responsive, but selling toys on the internet is not my primary job. Sometimes it can be several days before I can get to the UPS store or post office. But I will go. If I make a deal, I keep it.
(speaking of deals) I will get that Apache to you TKprime. It's been difficult becuase of regular life and the fact that the box is 30x9x9.5. I've had a lot of trouble finding a box large enough to ship it in.

Hi Devil King. Unfortunately, my first experience trading here was a bad one. The other person I was trading with did not keep his word, after we had agreed on a trade. Now, I'm not saying everyone here is like that, but sometimes it's just a matter of luck and you end up dealing with the wrong person. I'm sure there's a lot of good people here who are honest and just a few bad apples.

If they don't respond I would consider it over. Work a trade with someone else. The person shouldn't get a bad review or rep unless something was shipped. The person could have found a better deal, lost interest, or decided to not pick up the certain item.
To let my trader know it's a done deal - I usually provide a tracking number within a couple hours of our agreement. |

Just curious.. how long after the agreements should you consider moving on if a buy/trader never contacts you after the deal is made.. 1 week or 10 days.. It's been 1 week for me and I haven't hear anything from him and I don't think it's my responsibility to contact him after the last textmssg. he never returned.. so should I just move on or still wait for his responce
