Hello Tankers,
I'm considering selling a few top shelf items to raise money to complete the 1988-1994 vehicles section on 3DJoes.com Please PM me if you are interested in: - 1987-1994 MOC figures. See the complete index here: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s107/...a0a0c07fe4e2b1 This is $6,000 of carded Joes, yours for $4,500 (that's 25% less than I paid!). I will break them up by year if you want a full year, but I'm not yet going to sell them individually at that discount. I'd rather sell bulk at a significant discount rather than individually at this time. SOLD - 1982 Missile Command Headquarters, complete with a really nice box, all three AFA85 figures including "Mickey Mouse" Cobra Commander, a sliding bottom AFA case, red back file cards, file card holder, blueprint/instructions and all set pieces. It's all there and it's nice! I personally bought and sold four sets to complete this one, and kept the whitest pieces in the best condition. Asking $1,250. The set on my site is the exact set for sale, so please check it out: Cobra Missile Command Headquarters - 3DJOES SOLD SOLD - 1983 Viper Glider (with Pilot) and Falcon Glider (with Grunt) complete set! SOLD - 1986 Terror Drome - MINT, complete and unbroken! Fresh from sealed bags. I opened and assembled this set myself. You won't find a nicer Terror Drome. Stickers not yet applied. No discoloration. Never in sunlight. Includes blueprints, sticker sheets, and a pretty weathered dual language Canadian box. Asking $600. Again, the set on my site is the exact set for sale, so please check it out: Cobra Terror Drome - 3DJOES SOLD Thanks in advance for helping me to raise funds to complete the 3DJoes mission: to document 1982-1994 comprehensively and professionally in a free, fun, interactive, and ad-free archive!

That Terrordrome offer sounds sweet. If I were younger (20's or 30's) and still had my own home, I'd be all over that Terrordrome. I own one now but, it's missing a couple of things and since it's yellowed some people consider it to be "gnarly". And not in the good sense of the word, in the bad sense of the word gnarly. At least, I think that they mean it in the bad sense of the word. The word gnarly sucks because it can mean something good and it can mean something bad, and if the person just writes...gnarly...you're left wondering if they like your video or if they dislike your video. I hate the word gnarly. I'm fifty years old. I'm too old to care what people think...lol.

Yeah, I wish I could take you up on the TD. I never had one, and ironically, I've spent a lot of time looking at yours!

This is my first and only Terror Drome. I'd wanted one since childhood. I bought it "as-is" and the seller warned me that a couple bags were torn open, so he couldn't be sure what was missing. It turned out I was only missing A.V.A.C. (who I already had) and a hose for the fuel station (easily tracked down).
Opening and assembling the Drome is to this day one of my best Joe memories, and I was 32 years old :-) If you guys wanna see pictures of it from assembly day, scroll down to the middle of this album: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=1d984a0b87 You can also see the MCHQ, including Mickey Mouse Cobra Commander prior to getting them graded. |
