Hey guys...
Now this truly pains me to have to do but Im looking to sell at least 80% of my comic collection. The hardest stuff to see go will be my Green Lantern Collection but its going towards my bands debut album and tightass Record Labels just dont cut it these days. I have sold some stuff on Amazon before and also Ebay...I had more success on Amazon but its very limited I find on what you can list-Ebay is "o.k" apart from being EEEEEVIL. My main concern is wether to split it up or not? I have ALOT of #1's and Variant Covers and so on..do I sell them seperate? Do I sell all the odd stuff as one big lot?? Im also worried because they are in full comic boxes and they are extremely heavy...so Im guessing shipping will be through the roof, anyone from Poole,Dorset in England could obviously pick them up but whats the chances of that? lol So I turn to you for advice good friends PLEASE HELP!! Dude, don't do it! I did that a few years back, I made almost no money ( the comic market is S&*T right now!) , matter of fact, I think I lost money listing and shipping all of those.
I tell you what though, I will ask around here in Connecticut ( a few shops I go to) if anyone is interested and try to help you out! Good luck brother. |

As a fellow musician, I will tell you this:
If you do it, you'll regret it. I sold all my whole collection 10 years ago. Worth about 2000, got about 200. You will never get what you should. But if you have to, try selling seperate pieces. That may take the sting out of the shipping, but you may not sell as much. Whatever you decide, good luck with the album. Recording can be stressfull.

Vintage Green Lantern (Silver Age):
Green Lantern / Green Arrow #91 Green Lantern #141 - 143 , #173 -186 , #193, Anniversary Issue #200 Green Lantern / Green Arrow (Denny O'neil and Neil Adams) #1 - 4 Tales from the Silver Age Green Lantern #1 Green Lantern Emerald Dawn #3 Green Lantern Emerald Dawn II #1,2,3,5 Green Lantern 80 Page Giant #1 - 3 Green Lantern / Superman Legend of the Green Flame (Prestige) Just taking a look thru the comics you listed, the above ones would maybe be the only ones worth just about anything. All the 90's stuff you listed is still only cover price (some not even that much). Anything, from any company, that was put out in the 90's is worth nothing due to the large print runs for everything. There is the occassional exception, but they are few and far between. Right now, people are really only buying current issues of stuff, back issues are at a virtual standstill. My advice to you, is to not sell them. You will make pennies to the (cover price) dollar if you do. Unless you just want to be rid of them for space considerations, don't sell right now.
