I have almost the entire 25th anniversary line, MISB and MOC, that I am considering selling off as I have rather fallen out of love with the set. I'm going to keep a few items for myself, but they wouldn't fall within the 25th series. I need to get a full inventory, but I'm pretty sure I have every single figure and vehicle and set (including store exclusives) released from 2007-2009 (up to the ROC figures) except for the following:
Tiger Rat Python Conquest DVD Battle Pack 5 I guess at this point, I am wondering realistically what can I expect somebody to pay for this collection? Thanks all. |

You will make more if you break it into small bundles or lots, or even singles.

You're best off parting it out, honestly. I did that with my collection based on figure/vehicle waves and did pretty well.

What would be the best way to break up the collection? Sell figures as singletons? Or do select lots?

I hate to be first in saying this, but selling it as one lot...while not impossible, is gonna be the hard road.
I think the average buyer is looking for items but necessarily an entire collection, but I'm sure there is someone out there looking to get back in or catch up, or possibly online stores who would buy your collection and then sell it off piece by piece. The only one I can suggest is www.jasonjoesandmore.com or bluebikerboy here on the tank. I mention him specifically because I have both done work for him and purchased from him and he's always been square with me...good luck. |

I sold mine in waves. Each figure wave, each vehichle wave, all the DVD sets together, each 5-pack box set wave, each exclusive wave of TRU SROs and 5-Packs, each Target Jet wave, etc. If you're not looking to move everything immediately, you can get really solid prices. Do your research, know what you want to get for them, what people are willing to pay given time (now is a good time to sell with tax refunds), and determine your timeframe for getting rid of everything. If you sell here you pay no eBay fees, but you'll likely have to sell for less. Balance that out.
