I appreciate your input on the donkey but, that one stupid remark really cut this thread apart. I created this with the input from quite a few Joe lover's and a lot of time and care went into them, trying for perfection. I just really was not ready to have the entire first page nothing but smartass'ness. Oh well little late for that now. It is odd that with all the seemingly outlandish claims made by my auction he only managed to poke at the umbilicals. I just accept that this thread is a total loss now. Thanks for the kind thoughts covering for the dipstick, but I am a guy too and I know how to clown on someone too, it's just this clown has epic timing. |

I was serious. You asked a question and I responded. People see what you've done and are out buying supplies to make their own custom cord.

Its great tankers can now go out and build there own cords but I don't think that was his intent he was trying to promote his stuff and he is right you derailed his thread intentionally or not. Im sure my comments didn't help either so I am guilty too. I know your a good guy thats why I took up for you but your comments came off as kind of skeptical and rude just saying from an outside point of view. Op there is a lot of smartasses on here me included so your going to have to have tough skin on this forum. Good luck with your sale.

LOL, me too.
It's all good a friend posted on here over a year ago about using wire. He is the same one who challenged me to make these, (yes this is the 2nd gen) and I even have a 3rd gen. now! But I am still testing it... It was just too easy for this guy to pop a smart comment and he did. It just sucks that the thread was derailed from the word go. This guy is only one of a couple I actually had a hate mail through evilbay that I really wanted so much for the umbilicals. Well all these people see is the clean better than original outside having no clue what went into making it. They are odd as they want one of the most expensive toys in the Joe world then whine about the cost to cover the creation of a much needed and wanted upgrade. Some are haters and some are just cheap but you are the only one other than that funny guy with a hernia who even expressed interest on here. I am sure that if they cost me $17 and an hour to assemble each not including anything from the initial investment of all the different cables, jacketing materials and different glues/resins/adhesives used in the initial creations that some people would still whine if I asked $15 each for them. That's life, I hope that after a friend posts a review of them that others will loosen up and not be pretentious about getting one. As they only get more fricken awesome from here, Give it some time and you'll see a post for the 3rd gen, redonkulous! Last edited by BUGG; 02-15-2012 at 04:37 AM.. Reason: schpehlleeng |
