I am looking to starting a convention.. nothing obviously on the SCALE of SDCC or even that punk ass show that some call wizard world.. but definitly nothing out of my garage that would be considered a rumage sale either..

Here is the deal.. I am looking for people with experiance in this kind of thing.. people in the dealer business that have done these shows in the past..

Tips, tricks, startup cost.. whats it take.. who to reach out to.. stuff of that nature.. what goes into actually running one of these shows.. is there any profit involved being the "organizer" of the show.. you know.. that kind of stuff.. is it better to be a 1 day deal... 2-3?

How do I get sponserships.. door prizes.. items of that nature!

All PMs and replies welcomed.. this show would be in the west michigan area for certain Battle Creek/Kalamazoo and hopefully within the next few months sept/oct time frame to give time for setup, prep, advertising, things of that nature.
