Hey all, I've got about 30 or so carded figures that I am about to sell individual. I've tried to group them into lots with no success selling them. My question is, is shipping a individual figure in a medium Flat rate box for 12.99 too much to ask for shipping? What would be my best most affordable alternate option? Thanks for the help!

Yes, that is way too much for one figure. It's tough to find small boxes to accommodate carded figures (like the ones the FSS ships in which are perfect). If you can find the right box, priority would be about $6 and standard can be less than $4 sometimes.

So I would be looking at charging $8. $6 for shipping and $2 for handling or price for the box.

The USPS has announced plans to further increase postage on Priority Packages in January of 2017. Effective Sunday, January 22nd, 2017, the costs for most Priority Packages will increase in Priority Mail by 3.9 percent and an average of 3.3 percent in Priority Mail Retail prices.

The Priority Mail Flat Rate Box and Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope prices for these products are:

New - $7.15
Medium flat-rate box
Current - 13.45
New - 13.60
Large flat-rate box
Current - 18.75
New - 18.85
Large APO/FPO flat-rate box
Current - 16.75
New - 17.35
Regular flat-rate envelope
Current - 6.45

Legal flat-rate envelope

They're also proposing raising the cost of Stamps again.
There may be minor changes between now and January as this is still a proposal.

*Sigh* More increases. I wonder if rates to Canada will go up. Canadapost is so expensive now that I don't even use them to ship to the US anymore. It's cheaper for me to use USPS.
