What happens / can you do if something sent Priority doesn't arrive in the 2-3 business days? I bought something off eBay, it shipped on the 6th (actually left the sorting facility), and it didn't arrive today (the 9th). I know it's not the seller's fault, but I thought Priority was guaranteed in 2-3 days? It's only coming from NJ, too. I've had Priority arrive from CA in 2 days before. I don't get it.

So it's not so much a guarantee as just BS? OK, I was just curious anyway.

That's really just the average. The only guarateed service is Overnight and Express and even then they are not 100% guaranteed-more like 90

Good to know. I just find it funny that it didn't arrive considering the place is less than 4 hours away.

my mail carrier seems to lose mail
in november i ordered some cds and a t shirt nobody was home so he brought it back to the post office i go there to pick it up they could not find it so going there 10 times to see if they found it i called my cc to cancel the order and the carrier goes he doesnt know what happen to it
then recently i won 13 cobra desert extreme conditions figures the package came from miami went to jersey then back to florida back to nyc nobody was home the day it came so i went to the post office since it said it was delivered go speak to the supervisor she brings the carrier out and he goes he gave it to a woman which was bull because nobody was in my apartment and nobody has the keys but my mother and me and she was not even home she was in brooklyn . so it was my word against his then the numbskull goes i also gave a package to a guy i go yeah that was me then got smart and goes i dont have nothing to do with your package . so it was my word against his i called the 1-800 number even called the postal inspector but never heard back from them so i got a hold of ebay and they couldnt really do anything about it unless i got a written letter from the post office stating the package wasnt sent but that isnt going to happen. so im out 57.00 and the figures and the seller never really replied back to me until i got ebay involved so i did call my cc company so they said theyll give me credit and to let them handle the rest so hopefully it works out , i really dont blame the seller or anything but this post office got some winners working there

My post man is a childhood friend we grew uptogether and played joes a sa kid. he runs at the times i'm comming home. so i normally wait atthe front door and get my mail straght from him and we converse. he often sees the packages and askes me whats inside and i tell him what i have and what i traded for what.
so he himself is always careful with my mail. i with the others who touched the boxes did the same. here are a few pictures. documenting what i got in the mail yesterday. and my postman friend even said "you arn't going to like this one" as he handed it to me"

after viewing the box and its contents. takign it to the post office and showing them. ther respose

#1. you should of insured it.
#2. who ever packed it should of used more padding.
#3. there just toys.

i am fairly sure i could of simply ducktaped a box tothe side of a trusk and it would of arrived in better shape then the items i got. and people wonder why were cutting money going the post offices.
