USPS
www.usps.com hey have free supplies take advantage for Shipping: Wrap them in the bubble wrap or plastic bag and then news paper or cushioned bubble pockets to cushion the items then write your name in the upper left corner (thats the return address) otherwise they wont deliver it (security issues) then in the center on the front of the box write the person name. as well as address. after the item has been wrapped seal the box with priority shipping tape and then do a google search for the closest possible post office (it should also have thier hours) Once you do that make your way down to the location given via teh mapz. go wait in line and then you will tell them you want to send the item to the location on the box. you give them money, they take your box and then the addresse gets his or her items and everyone is happy FTW! |

Well you want to make sure the box is big enough for the joes. If they are loose you can use a smaller box and pack them well, if they are carded I would wrap each figure individually and place packing material around them to prevent them from shifting. Do not try and force the figures in a box. Really it is up to use on what kind of box to use. I usually use USPS but that is my preference. As far how to ship something just remember to use delivery conformation and pack them like the way you would want your stuff packed. If I remember someone posted a how to on the site with some great advice. I will try and find that thread.

I really like the USPS large video boxes for mailing carded joes. I can get two of them in a box and it costs $4.75 to print at home which includes delivery confirmation.
I wrap the figures in bubble wrap and tape the ends closed and place it in the video box. It is almost a perfect fit and there is no room for any movement or friction of any kind. I have found that the small priority flat-rate boxes (the ones that cost $8.95 to ship) work equally as perfect for mailing the target exclusive vehicles. |

I often ship loose figures in small, padded envelopes. You can buy 25 at Sam's Club for around 7 bucks. Then, I print out a shipping label via First Class Mail from Paypal.com (go to "Merchant Services" and "Multi-Order Shipping"). If you are just shipping a few figures, the weight should be less than a pound, and should cost about $1.85 to ship (you can buy a small kitchen scale or mailing scale to estimate weight for light things like this). By printing out your shipping labels, you can drop off your packages with you mail carrier, and save the cash that it would take to drive to the P.O.
If you sell or trade alot, printing out your shipping labels is a life-saver. Plus, tracking and delivery confirmation costs about 18 cents this way. It's free with Priority Mail labels printed online. BTW, you can have the Priority Mail boxes shipped to your door for free from www.usps.com Last edited by karamazov80; 05-21-2008 at 11:11 PM.. |

Just be sure that you know if you are getting "flat rate" boxes or not. For Joe stuff, you'll probably be better off getting boxes of the non-flat rate variety. Both types of boxes are free, but you might be waiting up to a few weeks for them to arrive, FYI.
