Does anyone like the toys more than the show?
Does anyone who does NOT like the show, like the toys? Does anyone love the show and not like the toys? You think kids are gonna like em? Etc.

Well, I really enjoy the show. I've been pretty outspoken on the fact that I would have loved to have seen some strictly animated style figures for the show.
That being said, the toys we did get are stunning. Truly stunning. Cobra Commander looks freaking perfect. No he's not animated, but his overall design just rocks, and with him being in a realistic style, it's not alienating other fans, so that's all good. Firefly is wonderful as well. Duke and Snake Eyes are both impressive, but the two Cobra's really knock my socks off. A fantastic balance between the Renegades style and a realistic sculpt. Kudos. Can't wait to see more at the end of the month at JoeCon. |

^Yeah, I second most of that. The CC is the standout figure to me, just spot on. I'd like to see his coat be a bit darker, and maybe the red a darker red, but overall, that's undoubtedly THE commander.
And to me, Duke's facial features here actually do resemble the cartoon Duke's features, which is pretty remarkable, considering the figure is done is true POC realism. The Renegades line/sub-line is the one I'm most looking forward to. I feel it's forward-looking, fresh, but still tinged with nostalgia. With a cartoon giving it some structure. I'm excited to see where it goes. |

The show is alright, doesn't keep me glued to the screen nor give me the desire to catch up but it's decent nonetheless. My vote goes to the toys, I love how they seem to fit RIGHT in with the Resolute figures, the styling and paint apps of the toys look similar to me and I don't mind integrating renegades figures with resolute. This may have been an inadvertent outcome but one I appreciate nonetheless

Love the show, and I think the figures look great - it's a pity that half or most of each one is made of previously seen parts. : (
My favorite of the lot is the Commander. He will give the Resolute CC a run for his money as my 'standard' version of the character in my universe. As for kids liking them... kids like toys? When did this happen? XD Tom

Know how I know this? Because you posted a declassified flyer which was meant for fun as a NEWS ITEM. No one would ever tell you anything because the VERY FIRST THING you would do is post it here. Probably incorrectly. |

The show hasn't been thrilling me much. It's okay, it's what it's supposed to be, great for young kids. As an adult, it fails to hold my attention.
That being said, I'm still rather stunned by how much I love the toys. Besides Sci-Fi (which is a picture perfect version of my all time favorite Joe) my main thrill from Toy Fair were teh Renegades toys. Like others have said Cobra Commander is amazing. I also love Duke. He looks killer. Firefly as shown at ToyFair would be one of my all time favorite figures, but as he's shown in the production shots Hasbro showed, I don't really like him. Snake Eyes is boring. But we've had so many cool Snake Eyes, it's hard to get excited about this one. Still, he's cool enough to warrant a purchase. All in all I am thrilled with what Renegades stuff we've gotten so far. Don't care for the goofy helicopter (although that's a design issue, not an execution one) but otherwaise an A+ effort. |

I really like them both the toys and the show. The show is great and better than I hoped it would be but the toys are far beyond what I was expecting, they're near perfect. Obviously the kit bashed Snake Eyes is a bit meh next to the other three but who cares it's still a nice looking figure. Cobra Commander's coat could stand to be a little darker but whatever, not a big deal. As far as the kids go, well I hope they'll like them. If they're watching the show, and someone is besides us apparently, I can only assume they would want the toys but what do I know none of my friends kids are old enough for GI Joe toys yet but when they are that's what they'll be getting from me.

I love the show, and have been waiting for the toys!
Cobra Commander and Firefly are awesome, as is Duke. I can't wait to see what the rest of the figures look like. That Snake Eyes looks like what I did with my Snake Eyes a while back. I took the Target Rescue Snake Eyes body, put the mainline ROC Snake Eyes webgear on him, and the head of the Target exclusive Snake Eyes with the bike. Same figure! The vehicle looks nice, a bit on the small side. I also hope we get a Coyote, with maybe a set of Cobra and Joe sticker sheets, so we can choose who we want the vehicle to go with, if they make one that is. Sort of like how the new HISS you are able to make up your own letters and numbers on the sides. |

I like 'em both. Like General Hawk said, it's a pretty good balance. I really look forward to these toys above what will be coming out in the PoC line. I may actually strive to get the entire Renegades line, especially if they all look this good. I love the show. It ain't perfect, but I look forward to watching it every week.

To me they fit the mold of the style that began with the 25th. I am glad they did not go all anime. I see the star wars dolls have the anime style and "regular" style. Not really into star wars toys so I do not know all the cannons. Any ways i always think, "Wow, there are a lot of anime figures that would look neat as the 'standard' style ones". But in sales for the tykes I am not sure, the anime pegs beat out the others types in pegs, but that is from a "in joe hunt passing" observation. Like those cute joe things or savage or sigma. I dug the gijoe vs. cobra stuff to the end of the o ringers beacuse they did not look out of the bonds of existing with the original ones. Like video games crossing platfroms to have thier sequels, I prefer they keep the style of the 25th instead of making a new line that's all polygon faced. It's gotta little anime flair to it, but not enough to be a t crotch disaster. I can dig it. cobra!
