There was one episode that I liked from the 1986 seans where Slipstream and a female Strado Viper must work togather on an to escape a monster in an evacuated lab.

I like that episode too. I would have liked to see Raven come back as a Joe pilot.

The respect between Storm Shadow & Spirit is established in "The Revenge of Cobra" parts 3&4. I hadn't watched the cartoons since the 80's and watching that now in the HUB i thought of the deep concept presented to kids as well by their actions. Spirit saves SS in part 3, and SS returns the favor in part 4, and tells Spirit that they are now even and that the next time they meet it will be as enemies.

Which one had the Joes make Dial-tone think he had been fired only to have him be propositioned by Cobra in his dank flat so they can figure out what cobra is up to. A-holes.

I have watched a few of the DVD's that I have.I have 1.2 and 1.3.I give Shout Factory great marks for video quality.I wished they got the rights to TMNT and not Lions gate.I love them.Yeah, there are some episodes that make you go,ugh but some are very entertaining.

The Viper had to be one of the most innovative episodes ever. I also say for a 80's cartoon the plot was amazing. It was so absurd..and yet kept you guessing. The only thing that was bad, yet funny at the same time was the arctic resort and the officers still had their mask and helmets on !!!!

Some of my the ones I've enjoyed in my "advanced age":
-The original 5-part 1983 serial. It's more "Marvel" than "Hasbro" and that's why I've always liked it. Snake-Eyes gets the secondary spotlight and the story is full of all sorts of intriguing stuff--- like the weird mountain man, Cobra's mine, Destro's ambitions, etc. -"Cobra Stops the World". -"Jungle Trap" -"The Great Alaskan Land Rush" (mostly cuz' of the Oktober Guard, plus the Crimson Twins calling CC a "dweeb") -"Haul Down the Heavens" -"Once Upon a Joe" (although I always thought it was simply: "Shipwreck's Fairy Tale") -"The Funhouse" I forget where I found it, but if you view them by production number (order of when they were actually produced; not aired), you find sort of a "1984 season"; where Flint is pretty much the only "Wave 4" character. The "older" Joes & vehicles get more screen time and there are other little touches, like Airborne's "sixth sense".
