I also like the idea of cobra being big and the Joe's having to fight and keep hidden. The whole thing sounds cool. Now show us some more already!!!!

Whatever the hold up, we really should be getting a little bit of something every week. I mean we;re a little over a month away.

You would think that having designs and pictures and working on a 26 episode season that starts in a little over a month that they could show us something.....

I think it's a little early in the game to label Hasbro's marketing stragety failed.
They own the station the show is going to air on and can go ahead and give it enough time to succeed especially if it's any good. Be patient. Besides, I expect to see things start happening after Labor Day. When Wolverine and X-men was set to debut on NickToons, Nickelodeon gave the show a tremendous push over months before the show premiered to record ratings on Nickelodeon and NickToons. They jammed up commercials with spots and ads for the show, interviews with the voice actors, and Professor X talking about the X-men in the series. So now would maybe be a good time to I dunno show us an actual trailer. It doesn't have to be long. Just something 1-2 minutes to give fans a taste and give them something to whet their appetites and get them excited. Hasbro would be well served to start doing some sort of campaign in various markets to start getting the word out not just about the series but The Hub in general. There's barely anything out there right now. How are kids supposed to know or tune into the show when they literally know NOTHING about it? |

Patient time is over. In the past several months, Disney and Marvel have been putting more and more stuff out there for The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Following Comic-Con they stepped it up even more. This is essentially competition for the new GI JOE series. They've already basically gotten a headstart. Besides that, Marvel has already announced a micro-short campaign that will lead up to the series before its premiere. The show premieres basically at the same time as Renegades, possibly even later.

TV is not the only form of advertising and marketing.
I'm surprised you didn't have some picture to go along with your post. You are starting to slip Zefram. |

OK, the network is for a younger demo. What websites or shows are you watching where you'd see programming aimed at 4-12 year old boys and girls?
Nick and Disney are out for obvious reasons. Maybe they are advertising and because we're not playing number munchers on a website for 7 year olds we're not seeing it.
