For the record I wonder how many extra sales the classic series and Resolute made as a result of people searching for the movie?

No I am not. I am very skeptical. First off, I doubt it is going to be anything like Resolute. Secondly, Hasbro has lost my faith in their toons after prematurely cancelling Transformers Animated.

BTW, what channel is Discovery Kids anyway? I never heard of it before.

Not that I disagree or agree... But the problem in this lies in marketing. To be honest, I didn't even know about Resolute until it was already ran and on it's way to DVD. Hasbro put it's marketing power in RoC (which I knew about a year prior to release). And why wouldn't they? A multi-million dollar feature film vs. a 60 cartoon that aired on a late-night cartoon channel?

Do I think that Resolute would have made a way better motion picture?... Yes.
Do I think that Resolute is the be-all, end-all of the modern Joe universe?... No.

All I'm saying is that if Hasbro backed Resolute with even a fraction of accord as they did RoC, your numbers above would likely be greatly different.
