On the cartoon , after the theme song there is a segment (small bit) where it pans out and shows all the G.I. joes , a sky striker and a havoc ! ,
There are different varaiations of this scene due to theyre release on characters , does anyone know wich came first i tried looking on google , and my dvd's but came up short ... Was this scene done by episodes with certain characters that apeared during that season or is it an all inclusive ? I am trying to do a live version of this with my 25th ann and roc line ! Will someone please help ????????? |

It sounds like the season 2 opener, but it would be a Conquest, not a Skystriker.

Which picture do you want the list of characters from? The first one you have a link for or the third?

Wow , thank you all , my second question , is was there a certain order these were put in , due to appearance in episodes , or was it random , by most popular character ?
That is what i do not get , i would figure it would be put by waves , correct? for instance : 1984 line .... duke ,spirit , roadblock, mutt junk yard ,blowtorch, ripcord, recondo, stalker etc etc ............ So what order were they in ? |

The "cast image" at the end of the opening sequence largely corresponded to the product available at stores at the time. So the 1985 opener featured characters from 85 and popular characters from previous years (Gung Ho was fairly well featured up until he was effectively replaced by Leatherneck in 86)
They were ordered by product release year and was consistant in an entire season. IE, the cast image seen in the first episode of season 1 (Pyramid of Darkness part 1) is the same for the entire season.
