Not really, just heard of ideas for episodes that got changed due to other plans and such. I don't think Sunbow even had any definate episode plans for the 3rd season before DiC got the license. IIRC Sunbow had a loose outline for the season and that was it

From what I remember is that every Sunbow show made it to air. There were a bunch of ideas for a 3rd season where The Coil was going to be a sub-set of Cobra and bascially scheme to take back Cobra from Serpentor. There were going to be more Cobra-centric shows. Supposedly the final Sunbow episode "into your tent I will silenty sneak or creep or somthing" where Cross Country gets his tape deck stolen, showed what was going to be the beginnings of the coil.
Sadly Dic lived up to their name and Dic(k)ed all of us by undercutting Sunbow on the cost of the show and we got the 99.9% horrendous Dic(k) run of GiJoe. I'd still like to see the executives from both Hasbro and Dic(k) pistol whipped for that b.s. move. |

it's too bad. Everything that I've seen that was talked about for a 3rd season looked great. If they had made a 3rd season it prolly would have been very well done.

DIC was in the business of undercutting everyone at that time.
Their motive was paying people for their licenses, instead of the Parent Company having to pay an animation company to make the desired cartoon. In other words Hasbro paid Sunbow for GI Joe, DIC paid Hasbro for GI Joe. It was DIC's plan to wipe everyone else OUT of the market. There was rumor for some years of unproduced Sunbow GI Joe episodes animated before the "Mass Device" series that was supposedly to violent for TV. This rumor is not true, & when people try to show fact-footage of this in the past, it was just footage that was animated for the Marvel Comic series. |

Yeah despite what some say the original GiJoe and Transformers is still faaaaaaar better then most of the cartoon crap on today. GiJoe and Transformers "cheesiest" episode (as some like to say) is still better then most of the "good" episodes of modern shows, with a few exceptions.
Watching those toy and comic commercials really makes you miss what should of been. Thanks Dic(k)....F'ers |

Anything from the 80's and early 90's is pretty much better then anything today. I am sure there are some good shows But I don't watch anything today.
Even Power Rangers as corny as it was I loved the ones from the early 90's the ones today just suck |
