While this is a comic book, it's in the ARAH cartoon continuity, apparently somewhere during or after season 2, pre-movie. CC gets a magical lamp with a magic genie inside, and makes wishes for giant B.A.T.s, first one that attacks Joe HQ, then others being sent to Paris, Tokyo, and Washington D.C. There was even a P.S.A. at the end, where some kid was going to use his 80's-looking computer to go online and complain about a comic book, but Mainframe comes up to his window, and tells him it's wrong, and the kid agrees. Mainframe naturally then says, "And knowing is half the battle!"
An ok book. Anyone else have thoughts?

I surprisingly really enjoyed this book. I'm a big fan of Larry Hama's grittier/realistic-ish universe, so I didn't expect to like a Joe story that was going to be outlandish. But the art was a dead-on take of the animation, and I felt like I was watching a new episode of the old cartoon.

Though I?ve always had warm feelings toward Sunbow. |

No Hawk, Skystriker instead of Conquest, no Serpentor, I'd say this is between seasons 1 and 2.

Check page 15.
CC: "The governments of the world have never taken the threat of Cobra seriously enough. The Mass Device. The Pyramid of Darkness. We have shown you out power time and again, and yet, through pure luck, you have escaped doom."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o..._Hero_episodes So I'd have to say that this is somewhere between "The Pyramid of Darkness, Part 5: Knotting Cobra's Coils" and season 2. Hope they eventually explain where in there, exactly, in another issue.
