I think a lot of us know Hector Ramirez appeared in multiple Sunbow cartoons after debuting in G.I. Joe. We also know that in Transformers, Marissa Fairborne may or may not be the daughter of Flint and Lady Jaye. These next two crossovers I had never heard of before until I read this article. I'm not sure if these are accurate since I never saw these cartoons.

Inhumanoids, a show about giant subterranean monsters who rise up from an underground kingdom to destroy the world, also features Ramirez, and one of the characters on the show is implied to be a Joe named Brad Armbruster who changed his codename from Ace to Sabre Jet when he got into the monster-fighting business. You can even catch a news report about the Inhumanoids showing up on an episode of Jem for a few seconds, but it doesn't stop there. COPS, a show about super-police dealing with the scourge of cyborg gangsters and "fighting crime in a future time" is set in the same universe, too. One of their characters, a military police officer named Checkpoint, is the son of G.I. Joe's Beach Head.

I knew about the Inhumanoids/Hector Ramirez connection. Didn’t he also show up on Jem?
I was not aware of the COPS stuff... but frankly I HATED that show as a child. The main bad guy’s constant shitty Edward G Robinson was enough to put me off of it. Also the anti-drug episode where the same character is like “I might be a bad guy, but even I wouldn’t sell drugs! Nyah, see!” Insufferably lame, even to a 9/10 year old. The worst.

Inhumaniods is as strange as its toy line and pretty dark for an 80's toy tie-in.
I was amused that COPS had female characters, even though the chances of them seeing toy form was almost zero (due to Hasbro's policy on female characters after 1988). |

There seem to be Wiki entries that back these things up. Sounds like "Ace" only appeared in the final Inhumanoids episode and never became a toy.
Apparently Larry Hama wrote all the COPS file cards. The toy's file card mentions the Beach Head connection. |
