Hello everyone. Does anyone know where I can find a higher resolution of the finale?
I am looking for 480x360 to match all the existing webisodes 1 to 10.. for what ever reason the finale was presented in 320x240.. at least that is all I can find on youtube.com. I am editing all the episodes into one cohesive movie, however it is a tad annoying to see the finale drop resolution. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks |

Man here's the whole thing, I hope you'll forgive me, but this has already been completed. And as for the single episode in higher format, I'll happily upscale it for you.

I think this was doen on purpose to avoid the fan made DVD's that came out after the micro-series of Clone Wars debuted. Shortly there after I was the proud owner of a fanmade DVD that had all the bells and whistles of a production run.
Perhaps CArtoon NEtwork and Hasbro are on to those geeks out there witht he time and resources to make such bootlegs. Ruins cost effectiveness of releasing their own.

HEY! I'm no geek! (Well maybe I am).......but It's total crap that the avi's online ruins cost effectivness, that's total B.S. And frankly I'm offended, I download and still buy and I know most everyone does, (they may not admit it) but hey you're entitled to your opinion! (and love the avitar, seeings how I had this one first).

Cool I will download it later.. this project is more for experience to learn video editing more than anything else. What application do you use to upscale?
Thanks |

Was the actual AdultSwim version shown at a lower res as well?
EDIT - Well, I just tried peeking around, and it looks like the AdultSwim video isn't there any more. :( Is that normal? Justin |

Whoa there sizzle chest. Having viewed the series both online and on television, the resolution did not appear to be all that great. I'm not sure I stated an opinion more so than a theory. I owned the bootleg and then purchased the prduction run (clone wars) once it was released so I'm not downing our online communities abilities nor the factory produced versions. Merely that were I a company producing a particularly popular series and I knew ahead of time that it was possible to be fan made into a dvd taking possible cash out of my pocket, then I would make it a little off to avoid that. As far as the avatar goes, yes, it is cool. And who ever had it first matters not, it applies to be better.

Sorry Hauser, I just have a lot of strong feelings about certain issues, and lately I've had to defend my stance on a lot of them. so I'll leave it at that.
I know Soar, and warrent officer Flint worked hard on providing downloads us with links as well, (I don't know what their scale flv's are but you might want to check with them as well). |
