Not one bit.
If we get anything new for GI Joe (CGI or traditional animation), it will made under the idea of selling toys. So closer to Spy Troops, Valor vs Venom, or MAYBE Transformers Prime: Predacons Rising

I always thought that Hasbro should consider doing some sort of cartoon based on the gi joe kreo stuff. Sort of like the lego cartoons. That would be the direction I could see Hasbro most likely going in.

I have to respectfully disagree I think the fans would support and enjoy a series about undercover crimson guards. Kinda like the good wife but secretly working for a set of twins that work for cobra. It would be great. Mad Crimson Guardsmen.

When Joe sees another series, be it 2D, 3D or a hybrid, it is going to be geared towards newer, younger, audiences, which will all but guarantee most long time fans will write it off sight unseen (much as what happened with Renegades)

Considering all the garbage tv that is out there, I would rather they just bring Renegades back. It was a decent storyline, although CC didn't do much, but it did introduce old Joe characters back into the lineup. I liked the fact that it was a small band of guerrilla fighters on US soil trying to stop Cobra (security). God knows that the crappy shows get enough advertising as well as repeat showings on the television. Joe is still pretty cool as far as lines go. Call of Duty games notwithstanding, kids would dig it if there was some medium attatched to it. Mega Bloks is definitely scoring points with their COD line--army builders, vehicles etc. I would just love to see Hasbro let someone that loves the GI JOE line give it a fresh kick in the ass.
