Wow, it's not often that something I'm so looking forward to actually lives up to my expectations. Resolute has so far been one of, if not the only thing ever to shatter them., I can't praise it enough.
I'm only on page 8 but I had to mention that I don't think my boy Beachhead is going to make it, he's had no lines yet and they're getting ready to go up against Destro and The Baroness. Oh boy, even if they kill my favorite Joe I don't care, Resolute is awesome and damn it I want more. |

Me too at first. But pause it (took me several times) and it looks like brains to me. |

Well...I'm assuming no one would be foolish enough to click on this thread without having seen the episodes and then cry "spoilers!"
Storm Shadow is dead. That leads me to believe this is a one-shot. This isn't the beginning of a series, this is a stand-alone project and it's going to end with the principle COBRAs dead and probably a few more Joes. So for those grieving Bludd and Bazooka, and now Storm Shadow, don't worry. This looks like it'll be the only Resolute there is. No series. If there's anything after this it'll be a new project and probably based more on the film content. Enjoy it while it lasts. |

I find it a little unsettling that 75% of the responses to Resolute have been "ZOMG SO-AND-SO KILLED A GUY!"
Yeah, we get it, it's a more "realistic" G.I. Joe. I for one am glad the story telling is more intelligent and Cobra is now a legitimate threat (albeit still in a wacky 80's villain sort of way). I'm all for realistic deaths on the battlefield, but I can't shake the feeling that they ramped it up to make Resolute seem "edgy" and appeal to the crowd who has always wanted to see a headshot in a Joe cartoon. |

I'm really not to worried about Storm Shadow dying, after all this is just one interpretation of the GI Joe Mythos.
There is one comic book story arc (I can't remember the title) where Scarlett finds out Duke is a double agent and kills him.
