Wet-Suit: "Forward, forward. Just a little bit, forward. You jarheads know what forward is dontcha?"
Leatherneck: "Yeah, it's the way a SEAL behaves on a first date!" Lifeline: "They're going to be okay. No thanks to you Shipwreck!" Shipwreck: "No thanks to me?! I wasn't the one who re-programmed the HAVOC's guidance systems! Or disconnected the Mauler's weapons!" Lifeline: "Well what kind of genius uses live ammo on a practice range?!" Shipwreck: "I can't believe it! Shooting to miss!" Dial-Tone: "Well your direct frontal approach didn't work!" Lifeline: "And neither did all your fancy maneuvers Dial-Tone!" Beachhead: "HOLD IT!!! Fine officer material you all turned out to be! This is the worst disaster GI Joe has ever faced! You clowns you better muster up so leadership qualities before Cobra decides to-" Roadblock: "Cobra!!!"

I just watched "There's No Place Like Springfield" for the first time as an adult.
Early the first episode, Polly tells Shipwreck they have "miles to go before we sleep." This is actually a line from Robert Frost. |

The sunbow series was so well done. I mean it has its fill of cheesiness but between the amazing voice talent it had and the really well writen scripts it still holds up as really entertaining. They just don't make them like they use to thats for sure.

It's really hard to strike the tone of violent good-vs-evil, while also keeping it light and kid-friendly. I really admire stuff like GI Joe, Transformers, A-Team, and all those other great 80's shows.

From "The Most Dangerous Thing in the World": Leatherneck -"We got a saying in the Corps: The most dangerous thing in the world is a green officer in the woods at night with a book of matches."
Spirit in "Satellite Down": "Follow the path of least resistance" Lifeline in "My Favorite Things": "Saving lives takes courage too!" Duke in "The MASS Device": "I'm going to kick the mustard out of that crazy hot dog!" Law from the movie: "He finds the bombs, I drive the car. We tried it the other way, but it didn't work!" And pretty much anything Cobra Commander said. |

Law from the movie: "He finds the bombs, I drive the car. We tried it the other way, but it didn't work!" QUOTE] Probably the best line ever. I say this all time, never fits in context, but I love it. |
