Love this exchange between Lifeline and Low-Light on Cobra Island: Lifeline: Hey, Low-Light. Does it ever occur to you there might be an easier way of settling disputes? Low-Light: Yeah, Lifeline. It's called a gun! Gotta love those politically incorrect quotes that the liberal intelligentsia would never let slip under the radar today, including Cross-Country's line about avenging Confederate fighter Jeb Stuart. And scenes like Gung-Ho's "enhanced interrogation" of Zartan using a vial of swamp flu. Also Spirit's unspoken, "Hmm, next time I fix his brain" in Excalibur. One of the only humorous Spirit one-liners. Any time anyone uses the word "reconnoiter." One of those words it's difficult to use in real-life conversation. "Lights, Camera, Cobra" is great for having a direct James Bond reference "No, I expect you to fry" and a direct "Looney Tunes" reference with Shipwreck exclaiming "meep, meep" after knocking a coyote off his leg and into a ravine. IMDB has a nice little quotes list from the series including most of what I referred to except the Spirit line and the already quoted Serpentor, "premature," and "Custer" lines... G.I. Joe (TV Series 1985?1986) - Quotes - IMDb

You'd be surprised how often I use that word in everyday conversation, haha.

From the DiC series, I liked the Pharaoh City episode when Ambush and Capt. Grid Iron are infiltrating the dam and Ambush says, "You're right, Grid-Iron. This is as far as we go--on the outside. On the inside is another question entirely." I just liked the delivery of the line and it has stuck with me all these years. My brother and I still exchange that line every once in a while. I loved the "breath mint/candy-mint" argument in one of those episodes featuring Zartan and his 'noks extensively, and Zartan says "It appears they're engaged in weighty philosophical debate." LOL. "Brawling again, eh?" I never understood the whole exchange in the opening sequence when Flint goes "Keep your eyes peeled. Cobra's a snake, and "snake" is "sneak" spelled sideways". This leads up to Cobra Commander's line about "how G.I.Joe likes the bite of a cobra's fangs" or something like that. Flint's repartee makes no sense whatsoever.

Slaughter's "At ease, disease." Short and to the point. Could've been a Roadblock outtake with the rhyming.

I had always liked how Cobra was depicted as a ruthless organization yet always blundered and most of the Commander's observations from that experience gave us some great quotes
