Just the General in egypt. They never specified which one and why they never went for Ramses or one of the many pharaohs.

The character was named. It sounded something like Zanuff Amon-Thoth (pronounced zanuff ey-mon toth).
Thoth-Amon is a sorcerer in Robert E. Howard's Conan novels. I've no idea if I've spelled it correctly. I did think that King Takshaka in "My Favorite Things" had been made up, but then I learned that was a character in east Indian mythology, a king of the Nagas (snake people). |

Did you find if there was a historical Egyptian general by that name?
I searched wikipedia (there's a list of tombs known in the Valley of the Kings, where the tomb is located in the series) but I didn't find anything that sounded like the name. I also have no idea if I spelled it correctly. I always just thought of Thoth-Amon from Conan. I found what looked like a transcript of the episode and the name is spelled "Zanith Amon Toth." A google search just sent me back to that page, though. I guess it was a made-up historical person. Last edited by Barefoot Jedi; 09-16-2008 at 02:10 AM.. |

I'm pretty sure it is Montezuma.
They only showed his remains in Arise, Serpentor, Arise! |
