yup.. if it wasnt for the sunbow series.. I could care less about GI Joe.. That is what made me a fan for 25 years.. I dont understand stand why hasbro doesnt understand that..

Let's give this a chance guys. Just in the first few posts I see a lot of naysayers. I've seen the video in person, where Snake Eyes cuts Cobra troopers to ribbons, and everything looks top notch! I'm always cautiously optimistic with these things, but still optimistic none the less. Some of you just seem to find things wrong, regardless. Let's look on the bright side folks! At least it's not Sigma 6 all over again (apologies to Sigma 6 fans)! :-D

Everyone from this new series looks totally cool but I am hoping that the figures will be equally as good. Do you think the might do some DDP stuff too?

I sure hope so, to be honest. I loved a lot of what Devil's Due did with GI Joe.

lets be honest here: This Resolute toy line is just another excuse to pump more Dukes, CC's, Destros, SE's and SS's down our throat. They will be mostly repaints and most people will buy them to support the line and because the movie figures of the same group will prolly suck. Then they will throw a random new fig in every now and then like a Tunnel Rat to keep everyone hooked. I for one will not take the bait. I will get a Zartan and Flint and in order for me to buy any other figure it's gotta be just pure awesomeness.

I'd like to see new characters as well. What we do have now is almost enough to make our customs of all the other Joe characters (I stress ALMOST ENOUGH). I'd like to see new molds just like everyone else. I like that Night creepers, Firefly, Overkill, B.A.T and several other characters often had a change in sculpt every few releases. I think that an update on old classics is cool but I would like to see more creativity instead of having advanced articulated replicas of every single figure we already have in ARAH and VvV lines. I'd like to see more IG troops. Iron Anvils was an awesome addition and made sense to what the IG's are all about (Shock and Awe) I will be customizing my Paraviper into an Iron Anvil as soon as I get one and the time..

Resolute looks awesome. I want new characters and sensible updates (Firefly having an E.O.D vest is a good example). Give us Lampreys with gear and an outfit that would realistically work on their battlefield (they always looked like bikers to me)
