GI Joe Extreme

I recently stumbled upon this series again in old tapes that I didn't remember recording. And I have to say it isn't that bad. Maybe it's just me but it is a fun series to get caught up on. Any news if it will ever see the light of a DVD release?

I figured since DiC was being released that this might stand a chance. I've started thinking about trying to maybe make some custom figures for this. Found an awesome website for parts, they even have a Klaw face.

Yeah that series. It's actually pretty good. I like that the first episode has Savage in it, kind of tying it to the original Joe series.

Actually, Extreme was a SUNBOW production, so it actually stood a greater chance of being released than DiC for a long time.

I'd be willing to buy a DVd set. From what I've heard, the show actually garnered some decent ratings, but it wasn't pursued like Beast Wars because toy sales sucked (kind of like MOTU 2002).

The only real problem I have with the series is that all the characters are drawn like they are on roids. They are freaking huge.

I run a GI Joe game on another site and as I've been rewatching this I've noticed that I have a character in the game who is basically a carbon copy of Mayday. It's kind of fun but I couldn't help but ask the player if she ever saw the show and she says she hasn't. But really the similarities are uncanny.

I remember liking the cartoon,but hated the toys.They are the starwars toys of gijoe.
