Just got back from Wal-mart and picked up the 12" ROC Destro and General Hawk. Had Reactive Armor Duke & Heavy Duty as well, but didn't pick them up. I will have photos ready soon if anyone is interested.

Cool! Would definitely like to see pics; I'll probably pick up all from this wave with the probable exception of Duke.

Here are some photos I took quickly. Destro is a great figure, but I'm more fond of the classic version. Hawk has the potential to be a good figure, but the paint on his head is kinda sloppy. His eyes are odd, like he's looking to the right. Not bad for $10 each at Wal-mart.

I can't wait to find these! That Destro looks pretty swank.

Here's another pic I took of Destro. His suit is pretty nice, no buttons or snaps to close the front. His shirt/vest/tie is a one piece dicky, just the front part and nothing in back.

That's funny the new wave of 12" figures gets released at the clearance price.
Nice find by the way |

Quite honestly this is the first time I heard that ANYONE has picked up ANY of these 12 inch figures.

I was going to start my own thread, but as there is one (I used the search) I'll just post that I found the destro and it's a pretty decent figure. I'll probably be adding buttons and making a better shirt so he won't just have the dickey. I took some photos today, some of which are with my custom 1:6th Eccleston as the Dr from Doctor Who.
Destro is a hair short for true 1:6th (Eccleston is what? 6' 1"?) but a decent figure overall.. especially for ten bucks :P more pics here 6th scale pictures by d_jedi1 - Photobucket oh yeah.. I also HAD to switch his shoes because the ones he came with fell off as I was removing him from the package and would NOT stay on. |
