Just wanted to chime back in and say my answer wasn't meant to be smart-assed. To me that's what it comes down to with these... I can't afford them, and as awesome looking as they are, personally, I just don't care for the 12 inch format. So, not really being able to afford them + not really appealing to me = I'm not getting them.

It all about what you want to do. If you like them and want them, well you should probably go ahead and get them before they become harder to find. I am passing on them because i don't collect 12inch figures but i won't lie to you, they are very cool looking...

In my opinion, the Sideshow Joes are the best and ultimate figures. They are expensive for sure, but worth every penny to me.

^^^^ Agreed.
Yes, they are expensive, but when you see the detailing and all the little accessories that come with it, you'll see that it's worth the price. However, if you can't afford them, you can't afford them. They really are as good as they look in person. The only good reasons not to get them are price and size - either limiting yourself to being "only a 3 3/4" collector" and/or just not having the space to display them.

Honestly I dont like the fact that their Doll Bodies all seem generic as do a lot of the accessories. Something about them just does not strike me.. and certainly not enough to pay their price.
I would like to think I'd buy a Zartan, but it would depend entirely on the execution and how much they kept to the original concept. Same with the BAT yeah it would be cool.. but what if they just gave him new arms and a head and the rest of the body was just a regular body.. would it still be as cool?

It shouldn't take convincing, if its something you like and would make you happy, buy it, otherwise don't.

I'd like to see the collector that actually army builds these! See they're so bad ass, that if I could afford them, that's what I'd like to do with the Cobra Troops. 10 or 20 of those Blueshirts...ah a man can dream

well its like anything else , you buy what you like.. me personally do not like any of the ROC cobra line and will not buy any but thats just me people like what they like.. all the money ive saved not buying ROC ive put towards sideshow stuff..
for me they are awesome , they look badass when set up all the gear they come with is pretty slick i like them but it shouldnt take convincing. if you are on the fence and t hink wow they look awesome but to much , have a family member who is asking abuot gifts get you one or money towards one then you can see how you really feel about them. it helped me bc my brother has a lot of sideshow stuff and i was impressed from the get go

Does anyone have pics of their 12 inch sideshow collections we can look at? Going by just the SS mockups doesnt really give us a good idea of how it truely looks like.
