I am new here and planning to do some interesting images of my GI Joes - BUT - I hate the goggles which came with my Halo Jumper and British SAS. they are way to thick and just do not match the their face proportions. I want to see their eyes better for my images. Is there a source for "flatter" more accurate eye protection?
Please list sources or DIY suggestions. ALSO - same questions on guns... more realistic or metal ones? Or should I paint these? If so what paint and prep suggestions? Thanks to all. |

This board focuses on RAH figures mainly. You might want to try places like this:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/125690048032/ I collect both, so I'm familiar with the figures you're discussing in this thread. |

There have been many better and more realistic types of goggles produced for 1/6th-scale G.I. Joes and similar military figures over the past few decades, even by Hasbro themselves. You can find loose 1/6th-scale parts and equipment at online shops like Monkey Depot, Black Ops Toys, War-Toys, Toy Anxiety, Cotswold Collectables and so forth.

Well he even posted it in the 12 inch part of this website.
He's not wrong. Probably won't find many of the 12 inch guys here anymore though. I don't even think the Power Team elite forums are populated anymore and those guys still have product released to buy.
