You would have to switch out the body, the torso under the long sleeve shirt is black.

Just got my Destro and had the same concern before I received mine: Body/arms too small.
He looks much better in person. Sure, they could have used a beefier body, but this works. Certainly the BEST 1/6 scale Destro we are likely ever going to get. <<< Make note of that - those on the fence about buying him. I do wish he had some sort of over the shoulder "Sam Brown" type belt going over his chest to hold the computer pad, just like the original painting from 1983. Perhaps his holster, leg straps in red to add color, but that might look too silly. Also wish his pants were more like jodpurs as they were intended on the original figure. A bigger waist belt would have been nice too. |

Pictures don't do him justice. I think he's great in-hand. I think he looks better without the coat, though.

Too small a frame maybe with a TTM20 upgrade so that a classic open Chest pose can be achieved. Neck too long arms to small weak clothing design compared to hot toys stuff props to you Kato. Sorry just think for the price and what he's suppose to be or at least what more could have been done. .. (no left hand to hold a briefcase. .sad)..total lazy design pass pass paaasssssss.

Oh and if I'm wrong look at the hot toys dark knight rises Bane's clothing intricacy...badass. Look at the joker 2.0 it's an accessory treasure trove nothing left out there. (still stuck on no case carrying left hand). Sideshow deals with hot toys all the time not sure why this looks soo skimpy/cheap.... just saying. If you like it awesome, for the money I expect more.

Hehe for the most part I agree with that statement on pretty much all 12 inch figs. But Im constantly admiring my one and only hot toys/sideshow figure the DX01 joker with added 2.0 accessories. Even made a custom incarcerated joker from the set. The cool thing bout these things is you can just swap a head, change the clothing and gear all the time keeping the same core body and you can end up with a completely cool looking custom fig.

My older brother and uncles teased me for playing with "dolls" and "figurines" the whole time I was into 3 3/4" Joes as a kid.
On the other hand, my wife considers my Sideshow figures "less stupid" than my 4" Joes (probably because there are much fewer of them). |
