You really can't go wrong other than starting late and will probably pay more for some of the earlier ones.
I got some good deals on troop building Cobras at the last con though to fill in my gaps of Cobras. |

I hear ya. I was all set to preorder FF when he was first announced, then some things came up, we were getting ready to move, and I convinced myself I wasn't gonna collect anything but 4" figures. So I'm paying for my hesitancy now. But I do love the 1/6 stuff. So much detail that you just can't do with 1/18, and you can customize a little easier overall because it comes down to a change in clothes and maybe a head swap, basically. The drawback I'm seeing is that oarts and accessories are, or course, more expensive.

Zartan is one of the best SS has done. I had all the figures, I just sold Zartan, Hawk, Duke and a Viper. IMO the HOT TOYS stuff is superior to the SS stuff. SS is trying to catch up and has gotten better since the beginning, oh I sold my SS Storm Shadow too, he looked so lame standing next to the rest of the figures. I ordered the V2 SS and am hoping he looks better in person.
I'm going to be selling Flint, Dusty and Lt Falcon this week or next...I'll post it on the tank when the go up. I'm just gonig to keep the OG13 figures they've made and some the cobra troopers and CC. Congrats, FF is one of the nicer figs they did. |

Welcome. You said you go a good deal - mind if I ask how much?
You think? I think V2 looks like a chubby gimp. Only problem with V1 is the body, but then you could say that about nearly any of the Sideshow Joes, when there are better alternatives like the TrueTypes and what not out there... and you can always swap out the bodies.

Firefly was my first figure as well. Got him on a wait list reservation. Have been hooked ever since.
Open it up. Part of the joy of these figures is setting them up and posing them in your display. The boxes are made to be resealable. You won't regret it.
