I haven't yet, but as I get more of them I'm sure I will start adding stuff. I already want to add a drop down leg holster to my Viper.
Check out the Sideshow Freaks board. They've got page after page of talking about adding stuff to their figures or changing up their gear altogether. I think your Firefly will need a work bench of explosive making materials.

I hope I am not going too far off topic here, but does anyone have any ideas about displaying the alternate heads? Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, Baroness, Bludd, Destro, Cobra Commander, Yoda, Assajj, Indy: all come with great 2nd heads, and I'd really love some acrylic stands to put them on. I wandered Hobby Lobby for about 40 minutes the other day and bought a few things that failed to work. Does anyone have any ideas or links to places that sell these?

I only have 3 (FF & both SE's). I bought 2 of those ACI commando sweaters off of ebay a while back, and it really improved the look of both figures.

So I got the v2 SE in yesterday, and then just today I received the aci commando sweater. I out it on SE, and he looks infinitely better! Such a vast improvement. I think I'm gonna order knee pads for him now.

I started using them for customs. I'd buy cheap 1/6 scale bodies off ebay, and look for outfits for them. I'm trying to make my Cobra figures look less conspicuous in Civilian clothes. Right now I've got President Cobra Commander, VP Baroness, and Stormy in a white suit. I have Major Bludd on the way, and I already have an outfit and body ready for him for his alternate head. Plus, I've got plans for my extra Firefly head, and I even purchased an extra Zartan head to do one. |

I found some velvet ring holders at...not Hobby Lobby...the other place...anyway, for $3. They work well as head displays for extra heads. They serve for Storm Shadow, Snake-Eyes, and Bludd (not for Cobra Commander, Baroness, or Yoda).
I love the alternate bodies for the extra heads. I just spent some time looking at body parts. I might have to ape what some of you are doing or have done (love the Baroness, Cobra Commander, and Storm Shadow). |
