I had the KISS dolls. back then we said "I have the KISS dolls", not the KISS action figures. Feel me? Last edited by QBERT; 03-24-2009 at 10:24 PM.. |

For everyone new to the sideshow/hot toys/medicom 12" world: These figures retain their value even after being opened as long as they are in good condition along with the box. I know most of you are used to the Hasbro thing that when you open the package, out goes the value of your toy, but I repeat, this is not the case as long as everything is well kept.

Q--think i have to agree with you. and it's not neccessarily that i think this guy is on par with say hot toys' iron man or some soldier story stuff, etc etc, blah, blah, blah. for me...a lot of it is the character. and i do think sideshow did a bang up job for the most part. i actually bought a 2nd one so what does that say? vote with your wallet i guess. anyway, i've had so much fun playing around with this guy. couple more pics with the swords...i actually like the ninjato best.

Q, remember the sideshow boxes are not sealed with any kind of tape or glue. You can open it carefully and if you want to put it back in someday, no one will tell the difference (not that you are trying to deceive anyone in the future, but 12" collectors don't care as long as the package and figure are in top condition).

man, I am not a SE fan, but that is really nice.
I'd kill for a CC, but i'm pretty picky on spending that kind of money on a toy. I love the 1:6 DC stuff, and I'd love to put together a JLA, but I can't bring myself to drop the money. the only one i've managed to pick up is Green Arrow and he's awesome.

Q---thanks! no, the black shirt was actually from some of my extra 1/6th scale stuff. i think it came on dragon's original macv sog figure (not sure though).
copperhead---green arrow is pretty cool. i like the 13'' dc stuff as well. i just picked up rorschach and the comedian the other day. rorschach is prolly my favorite of the 13'' dc stuff.
