Does anyone know if Hot Toys will be producing a Retaliation Cobra Commander? I know Sideshow is doing a new face-plate classic version. Any feedback would be great, thanks guys.

don't think anyone has heard anything yet about that, so I'd suspect not.

That would seriously rock so much though. I could imagine it would come with an optional unmasked head with Rex's scarred up face. If there were to be such a thing.

I'd love to see them put out a CC. But at this point I'm hoping for a Roadblock.

I don't know, Hot Toys usually doesn't do a full line-up for their properties... Hard to say.
I think they had mentioned in advertising that they would do Joe Colton and Roadblock... CC seems like a logical choice as well, but there's really no way of telling at this point.

I can't imagine why Hot Toys wouldn't make CC, especially putting Joe Colton over him. Don't get me wrong, I loved Bruce Willis and props to the character, but CC is the main antagonist in G.I. Joe, and his Retsliation design is much more interesting than Colton's, particularly in figure-format. It would be like Batman without the Joker, He-Man without Skeletor, Doritos without Mountain Dew! There was a Tweet during movie productions that featured an Instagram portarit of the Commander; for a while I think others like myself thought perhaps it was a Hot Toys capture of a possible CC figure. Here's hoping - bacause honestly, as much as I want Snake Eyes, I won't get him if there usn't a Commander to go along with him in my display cabinet.

Personally I'm more interested in guys with actual headsculpts. That's where Hot Toys really shines, imo.
But I probably won't get any of 'em. Too pricey, and not enough interest on my part in the movie. It's gotta be real special for me to shell out for a Hot Toys figure nowadays... like maybe an Arnie Conan the Barbarian.

Honestly I'd rather have a killer Dr Rex figure. But I suppose they'd need the specific Rise of Cobra license?

I would deffo pick up a movie Cobra Commander, if they made one. And a Firefly! If the 4 figures they've announced sell well enough we may get more, emphasis on the MAY. Pirates of the Caribbean sold really well, but no Captain Barbossa. The Predator figures sell like hot cakes full of smack, but we only got Ahnolt and Billy. No Blaine? No Dillon? Mac? Hawkins? Poncho? Denied, man. CC would make an incredible figure, way more interesting than Joe Colton. Still, the Colton will sell to the Expendables fans.

They are doing Roadblock next according to the sneak preview shot they posted on FB. I think Joe Colton will also be done, but I would rather have Cobra Commander. Flint would also be awesome.
