I was looking over the old Hasbro 12" figures and I remember them doing a EEL that looked nothing like the 3 3/4 figure except for the colour scheme. I was thinking who here would love to see what magic SS could to to make and eel ?

Even if they made it we won't see it until 2015

Henderson played on nine teams, but he's sure to be inducted as an Oakland Athletic, like Eckersley, and depicted wearing an A's cap on his plaque. The A's were Henderson's first and favorite team, so much so that he returned three times and wanted to return a fourth so he could retire in green and gold.

Well, I voted "NO" not because I don't think it's a good idea, but because I would rather see them do Torpedo first. If they have him some really cool Navy SEAL Amphibious gear for the land and the sea, that would be awesome. If there's a way they could recycle some parts and give us both figures, that would be great.

Why is that? Do we know the release schedule of planned Sideshow Joe figures until then?

Major Bludd was shown at this year SDCC and will not ship until June 2013 unless there are delays.

I think that varies depending on the complexity of the figure, and the fact that Sideshow has other releases lined up for its other properties. Falcon, for example, was given a very short time between preview and release because he was sort of a kitbash for SDCC... so they can move with a purpose when they want to. It would be very easy for them to work with Hot Toys to get some parts for a Navy SEAL "Torpedo" figure. It wouldn't have to take them very long if they chose to move quickly. I think one issue is that they know these figures are expensive and the market will only support so many figures in a given ammount of time.

yup I agree if they flood the market with new releases not everyone will be able to afford them . so spacing them out throughout a year or so makes sense

Yes, I've purchased every Joe figure from Sideshow. I have all the exclusives. I keep up.
