I am in seek of collecting advise. I am debating on selling my Modern 4-Inch Collection (25th/RoC/Resolute/PoC/30th/Renegades) with every character in it so far (apart from RoC Kamakura). Should I do it so that I can afford the 12-Inch Sideshow stuff?
I should follow up in that I have picked up all of the Joes (Snake Eyes, Rock 'N' Roll, Duke, Flint, Beach Head, Stalker & Dusty) already apart from Hawk. He is the only Joe that I need so Far. I have all of the Exclusive versions apart from Snake Eyes. He is just the regular. I meant should I sell to pick up the remaining Cobra figures as they get expensive? Here is a pic of all of the figures together:

Only you can answer that, grasshopper.
Personally, I dig the 4-inch figures more.

yeah same here. I love the look of the sideshow figs, but for the same price and space, I can have much more figures, fun and money in my pocket.

If you have room for the 12-inch, by all means, do what you feel is right....

Oh and your 25th figs wont sell as much as you bought them for since most people want POC/30th figs now, so youll end up losing money. If if you can sell all those figs for lets say 1000$, that's like 6 or 7 sideshow figs not counting Firefly, SE and more popular ones.

I've always wanted to collect the SideShow toys as well. As other posted have mentioned though, your talking about trying to translate loose, mostly common figures (average 3-7$ each) into premium figures that command 100x that for 1.
Example, SideShow Snake Eyes is averaging between 250 and 400$ on Ebay. Storm Shadow is 150-250. So imagine trading roughly 3/4 of your entire setup for 2 toys......

Depends on what you like better. I like both so I have both... But money being tighter these days I tend to pass on the sixth scale in favor of the 3 3/4 Joes.
That said, I prefer the Sideshow versions and have considered selling my small Joe collection to finance the figures I have passed on in the sixth scale and may very well do that yet. But as anothe rtanker said, only you can answert that question. Its all in what you'd rather own.

BTW Black Llama, Sideshow is not commanding $250 to $400 on Ebay (Perhaps Buy it now), but I purchased 7 figures almost all of them were the exclusive version for a little under $115 per figure on average just this week.
