Your kidding right G.I.JOE is one of Sideshow Collectibles money cows it's what makes Sideshow's money, that and Star Wars, Lord of the rings, DC, Marvel, Disney and a few others, you think The Dead line is selling, my point is they won't give up the Joe line too much money hell they are charging 135 per figure.

can't even compare the two lines IMO. these are the figures I dreamt about having as a kid, yet can appreciate now as an adult. I sold every 25th/ME figure carded and loose and all the grails...and made a killing. I don't regret it one bit (well, maybe the AFA90 Piper's and yellow Stalker's somewhat), but these Sideshow figures are just on another level if you're a true JOE fan.
I bought 2 Firefly's from Sideshow, one I opened to display and the other... Last edited by Mr. Gone; 04-22-2012 at 05:53 PM.. |

Highly don't they will abandon the line any time soon. Nearly every figure they make sells out in a heart beat. Plus the quality seems to be getting better and better, thus drawing in even more collectors.

Hell, if that's true... I may stick mine back in the box and stick his ass on eBay. That first 12" Snake Eyes was a serious letdown. Maybe I could at least make enough to pay for the new version that's coming out!

Well I wouldn't. The Sideshow line is nowhere near the standard to justify adopting it over the 1/18th series.

Here's how it will go. You'll sell the ME figures to buy Sideshow figures and then in a few years you'll sell the Sideshow figures to repurchased your ME figures.

Even their Star Wars line has mostly dried up compared to its peak and those were so popular their servers caught fire during a preorder. Last edited by bluesparrow; 04-23-2012 at 01:10 AM.. |

I didn't do your poll. But here's some sound advice.
If for any reason, you have any hint of misgivings or second thoughts. Don't sell your stuff. You will completely regret your decision. Even years later, you will. Trust me. I made that mistake with my ps2 almost 200 games. (And that was back in the recession. If you want help. I can help you find SSdolls that are enexpensive. Matter a fact, getting ready to start a thread on it. Got the black cobra sniper (114.00) & blue cobra officer (119.00) to addto my collection. Found a place that has cobra commanderfor 99.00. So yeah, don't sell unless it's last resort. Even then, don't. There are options. |

You know this thread is 2 yrs old? Where did you get a black sniper for 114? I got one for a lot more. I need the box it came in if you want to get rid of it.

Henderson played on nine teams, but he's sure to be inducted as an Oakland Athletic, like Eckersley, and depicted wearing an A's cap on his plaque. The A's were Henderson's first and favorite team, so much so that he returned three times and wanted to return a fourth so he could retire in green and gold.

It's a question only you can answer. Do you have the room? Will you be okay never seeing certain characters get released in 12". Would you like to only have a streamlined Masterpiece kind of collection? If you can answer those questions you'll know what to do. As for expensive, the only Cobra Figure by Sideshow that is expensive is Firefly. Is it worth selling your whole 25th collection just for one figure? I say don't do it.
