Just project forward about 5 years or more... do you think you will still like your big 3.75" Joe collection or do you think you will like just having a fewer bigger Slideshow Joes in your collection.

DO NOT sell your 3.75" collection. It will be much harder to get them back compared to getting your Sideshow figures back. Find a way to afford the Sideshow figures while keeping the 3.75" figures.
If you really don't want to keep all of your 3.75" collection, thin it out. Keep your favorites, but don't dump them all. Trust me, you will most likely want to get the 3.75" figures back if you sell them. I sold my 25th anniversary collection about a year ago and I wish I didn't. Find a way to keep both the 3.75" and Sideshow figures.

I got rid of all the extra stuff I didn't really need - Snake Eyes repaints, purple IGs, and the crappy frankenjoes, etc. Didn't make much on 'em, considering how many there were - maybe $150-200 at most. But all they were doing was taking up space anyway, and there's a Sideshow figure right there (I think I bought Transformers with that cash, though!).

I had to sell most of my sideshow stuff and a lot of my 3 3/4 scale recently due to a financial emergency. Once it passed I couldnt stand it and have spent the last 3-4 months re-building.
Keep both if at all possible.
